Spiritual growth and "relapse"
you know this? Do you meditate, your spiritual practice exercises and doing "everything right" and suddenly you feel frustrated, empty or full of inner resistance fall into a deep hole? You hang fixed. What happened?
There are several explanations for this.
If we grow and are on a spiritual path is growing, also an internal counterpart - the inner critic, inner guard or the critical rationalist. They are part of us who want it all, leave undone, fear the loss of their control. Often we repress these energies because we do not identify with them. However, they are there, look in the underground and dig "holes" for us, which we then drop suddenly. Or we see it as the voice of reason and someone told us, the mind, the ego-self must, be overcome. "Drop the mind" says many a spiritual teacher. With all due respect - this is gross nonsense. The mind, the ego-self is a part of us and has an important function. It costs energy to fight just pointless. Do it to you as a friend and him in his place, if it become self-employed and gallop with them you will.
is another point: Inner growth makes us more sensitive. If you suddenly "in a hole" cases, this may mean that works your alertness, your awareness. Maybe a (unconscious) thought or belief in you that is contrary to your conscious choice spirituality, contrary to your true essence. Be thankful that your inner guidance system works and gives you this warning. You must now do not necessarily find out what kind of a thought or belief that. It is sufficient to perceive the feeling and aligning with love, joy and spirit. Maybe you do something to strengthen the alignment: meditate, dance, yoga, walking or whatever brings you along on your way. Gratitude for all that is and what you have already achieved is always a good way. Do not fight the feeling of, but not exponentially. Stay alert and aware and things will change quickly. Sometimes it is true that the darkness at the end of the tunnel is greatest. Remember that light is always stronger than darkness. Open your heart and I sympathize with you.
